We provide a one-month mechanical service warranty for every unit we service, specifically for washing machine and heat pump cleaning.
We take full responsibility for any damage or loss that may occur during or after our services. Rest assured, Mr. Shine is fully insured, and we will promptly investigate and take appropriate action to resolve any issues. Your peace of mind is our priority.

We use 100% eco-friendly (non-toxic) cleaning products for all services. We always take extra care with the chemicals we use, ensuring safety and effectiveness in every job.
No, there’s no need for you to be present during the service. As long as we have access to your property, rest assured that it will be in good hands. We will take care of everything and let you know when we leave.
Currently, we accept payments via bank transfer and card transactions only (including credit card payment). Please note that we do not accept cheque or cash payments.
Yes, we do. Additional charges may apply for services outside our normal hours, including public holidays.
For changes: We kindly ask that you notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to reschedule or adjust your booking.
For cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours (preferably 24 hours) in advance to avoid any potential cancellation fees.
Please reach out as soon as possible if you need to make changes to your booking.
Yes. Cancellations made within 12 hours of the appointment or on the day of the service will be subject to cancellation fees.
The cancellation fee may vary, starting at a flat rate of $59 plus GST or as a percentage of the total booking cost, typically ranging from 10% to 25%.
Cancellation fees will be waived in the case of unavoidable or inevitable circumstances. We understand that unexpected events can occur, and we’re happy to accommodate such situations.
Washing Machine Cleaning FAQs
Yes. Please ensure the washing machine is not in use and, both laundry sink and surrounding area are cleared before we arrive.
It typically takes about 1 to 1.5 hours for a top loader and 2 to 2.5 hours for a front loader. Some models including washer/dryer combo models may take a bit longer.
Yes. Upon request, we can provide repair services, including part replacements. We recommend considering this option when the cost is reasonable and within your budget.
No, there is no need to move your washing machine. Please keep it in its current location.
We kindly request that the surrounding area is cleared to allow us to work safely.
For Installation: Yes, we can install washing machines upon request.
For Removal: No, we do not offer removal services for washing machines. You may consider selling it for parts or contacting a recycling company.
Tumble Dryer Cleaning FAQs

Heat Pump Cleaning FAQs
Yes. Please ensure the surrounding area is cleared before we arrive, especially the space underneath the heat pump unit.
It typically takes about 1 hour for a single wall unit. Some models may take a bit longer.
You can have peace of mind knowing that we always ensure the complete waterproofing of the surrounding area.
As part of our process, we may kindly ask you to temporarily move any light to medium-sized furniture or objects to provide us with some space to work efficiently.
Yes, we can if it is easily accessible and requires cleaning. Please note that an additional charge may apply for cleaning the outdoor unit with any disassembly involved.

Dishwasher Cleaning FAQs
Yes. Please ensure all dishes are removed from the dishwasher, and clear the surrounding area, including the sink and nearby benchtops.

Carpet Cleaning
Yes, please clear the carpeted areas of small furniture and other items. We can assist with moving things if needed. You may leave any heavy furniture in place. We can take care
of moderately heavy items, such as couches and single beds, as we work.
Please also remember to ensure a parking space is available near the main entrance to the property.
Since we work as a team. For instance, it should take just over an hour to clean a vacated three-bedroom single storey house (moderately soiled).
The premium (allergy-safe) service typically takes about 1.5 times longer than the standard option.
We aim to speed up the drying process, especially in winter, by implementing our quick-drying processes. Based on our experience during winter months, the carpets will be sufficiently dry for you to walk on by the time we finish cleaning, However, please allow about 6 to 10 hours for them to fully dry. Carpets should dry much quicker in summer.
Yes. General stain removal is included except for any stains that require special attention. You must let us know if you have any specific requirements for particular stains.

Upholstery Cleaning
Yes, please clear the area around the furniture to allow us to work efficiently, and kindly remove any coverings in advance. Please also remember to ensure a parking space is available near the main entrance to the property.
Since we work as a team. it typically takes about 45 minutes to clean a three seater couch (moderately soiled) and half an hour for a Queen mattress (moderately soiled).

Move in/out & Post-reno Cleaning FAQs
Yes. Please ensure all areas are cleared of items and clutter and are fully accessible. Allow sufficient time for the service, ideally with 1–2 full days of flexibility.
It’s best if we can access the property at any time of the day to complete the service smoothly and without any hiccups.
Typically 3–4 hours for a 3-bedroom house with moderate soiling.
Post-reno or new house build services generally take about the same time.
Duration may vary depending on property size and condition.
Yes. Optional extras and special requests can be added in the additional comments section of your enquiry.

Pest Control FAQs
Yes. Please ensure the premises are vacated.
Remove or cover any food, dishes, or delicate items.
Typically 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the property size, type of pests, and severity
of the infestation.
Yes. Keep the property vacated for the recommended time (usually 4–5 hours).
Afterwards, ventilate the area and sweep or wipe surfaces as needed.
No. Pets must be removed or secured elsewhere during treatment to ensure their
safety.
Yes, we will provide follow-up treatment if the initial infestation persists.
Yes. All treatments are performed by a registered UPM NZ-qualified operator and
